Those engines don't care. When in doubt, go all out.
Those Phantom Turkeys were bricks anyway. All those kinks and saw-tooths and bends and flaps were there to clean up the shitty flying, but they sure were fast. They made these in my home town, my elementary school was about half a mile south of airport. When these beasts would take off, life just stopped for a few minutes.

It's an F-4 the wings were just there for decoration anyway, the rumor is it went through the wind tunnel better backwards!
